Osteria Pulcino nero — Restaurant in Foiano della Chiana

This is my favorite restaurant in all of Tuscany! I ate here many times during my visits and I can't say enough wonderful things. It is self owned and run by the most incredible duo- Femi and Luca, who have such an infectious zest for life. They make every experience at their restaurant an unforgettable one. Femi is a great chef who never disappoints. It always feels like a party when I'm there. I love it and can't recommend visiting them enough. LOVE Osteria Pulcino Nero! See you next time...

Great restaurant for fish dishes! Typical from the south cousine. The place is not very big, I recommend you reserve your table. The owners are very friendly and made us feel at home. The fish carbonara and octopus were simply delicious! Only side note: the cannolo is with sheep ricotta, a bit too strong flavor for a dessert according to us. They also have a good selection of wines, everything in a fair price range....

Siamo andati a mangiare in questo locale tramite Groupon. Il locale è piccolo ma carino. Il proprietario è stato gentile ma purtroppo non abbiamo gradito molto la cena in quanto le porzioni erano abbastanza misere anche se il pesce non era male. La proposta del menu era molto limitata, quando acquisti su Groupon ti fa vedere un menu molto più ampio ma in realtà non è così; io si può dire che ho mangiato solo polpo e il mio compagno cozze, anche se i piatti avevano un buon sapore ma non avevano un gusto ben definito. La frittura era veramente molto scarsa (due anelli di totano e due polipetti) e non l ho gradita molto perché secondo il mio gusto personale era troppo unta. In più ahimè abbiamo patito un po’ il freddo e non è stato piacevole cenare in tal modo. Il dolce infine confezionato non era granché mi aspettavo un dolce casereccio visto che si tratta di un osteria. Sicuramente per noi non vale la pena...
