La Pasticceria Peggi è una tappa irrinunciabile delle mie vacanze estive a Follonica. Ogni anno ci torno con entusiasmo, e ogni volta conferma il motivo per cui resta la mia pasticceria preferita in zona.

Il vero protagonista? Il bombolone alla crema: semplicemente il migliore mai assaggiato in vita mia. Soffice, leggero, con una crema pasticcera perfettamente bilanciata, non stucchevole e dal profumo avvolgente. Una vera gioia per il palato.

Anche il cosiddetto “frate”, con la sua frittura asciutta e l’impasto morbido, è ottimo e merita assolutamente l’assaggio.

Se siete in zona, fatevi un favore e passateci: colazione, merenda o dolce sfizio fuori orario, Peggi è sempre una garanzia.

Unico dispiacere: da qualche anno, almeno nel periodo estivo, la sede storica di Via Bicocchi resta chiusa, e si è quindi “costretti” a recarsi nella sede in Via Repubblica, in zona Senzuno - sicuramente valida, ma meno centrale e comoda...
