THE BEST FOOD WE HAD IN ISCHIA AND ITALY IN GENERAL (and we are a group of foodies you can trust). You HAVE to go here! Francesco and the chef were so accommodating, thoughtful and detail-oriented - we booked a table and they showed us the fish/seafood that was fresh that day; they kindly agreed our very picky request of cooking it in 2 ways (we're a foodie family so wanted to try different styles!). The chef cooked the scampi perfectly - not overcooked like some restaurants - it was so simple and seasoned so well. The same can be said for the pasta dishes and would definitely recommend the grilled prawns! The views were incredible and the atmosphere so so nice. It was so reasonably priced and we ate there twice when we were in Ischia. Francesco is a sweet, hard-working, thoughtful, earnest old man who wants to serve you good food - do not expect super fast service but a more relaxed vibe - it is 10000% worth the wait and just make sure you don't arrive super hungry. If you are interested in seafood, make sure you request this a day in advance and the next day, they will tell you what was caught :) It is 100x better than Umberto a Mare - do not waste your time and...
Read moreI don’t know where to begin! Between the view, the decor, the food and the friendliness... I’m truly lost for words!

We then shared the salcicce ubriache (sausages in white wine) which sat atop the richest most delicious sauce I’ve ever had in a restaurant.
We were offered local wine as well as limoncello to finish.
The smell of food cooking filled the air upon our arrival (Francesco came to pick us up from close to our hotel) a real professional rally driver ;)
If you’re ever in Ischia, ti prego, please go and eat at Bellavista, it will be impossible to be...
Read moreThe food was amazing with vegetables grown mostly by the owners, the pasta was cooked perfectly and the bruschette were really good. We were offered Prosecco and we were seated on the corner of the balcony, and we got to experience why the restaurant is called Bella Vista! We could see the sea and the light house, the country side and the vineyards. The owner was very welcoming, and we chatted throughout the whole dinner. He was a very wise and talkative man. Cherry on top, there were kittens right outside the restaurant! Only flaw, is that it is quite hard to reach unless you’re staying in a nearby accommodation. Overall really good experience I hope they get a lot more clients cause when we went it was completely empty...
