This is a nice restaurant, with a good atmosphere. However, the service was extremely poor. I have dined around the world, but have never been made to feel as unwelcome as I was here.
The waiters decided from the very beginning for some unknown reason that they would take a disliking to my partner and me. They refused to acknowledge us, speak with us, even make eye contact.
We waited 30 mins just to receive a menu, and then the same again to order. What’s worse is that they were not even very busy. I watched as one waiter casually strolled around pretending to look busy, but not actually doing anything. We had to laugh to ourselves when he eventually came over with bread and slammed it down on our table before abruptly walking off without so much as saying anything or acknowledging us.
We were very confused by this behaviour since we were nothing but polite and friendly. We were not difficult diners - we made no specific requests or complaints (even when warranted). We spoke with everyone in the local language out of respect. Not sure what their problem was with us.
Food was very good when it eventually arrived - compliments to the chefs!
After we finished our meal and drinks, we waited a very long time for the bill. Again we watched the same waiter pretending to look busy instead of bringing the bill. Then after 20 mins, he told us to go inside to pay. Pretty poor but we accepted. We then waited inside for another 5 minutes for someone to help us - in this time the waiter passed us three times and ignored us. The fourth time, I politely reminded him that we had been waiting a while to pay. He called a colleague over to assist us, who then took a laughably long time to sort out the bill. We paid, and wanted to maintain our dignity so we thanked him and said good night, only for him to ignore us again and walk off.
Appalling behaviour towards anyone let alone paying customers. A real shame as this would be a 5-star review if they had shown a minimal level of human decency to us....

🔹English Review I was born and raised in Naples, with deep roots in the region and a lifelong connection to Ischia, Capri, and the Amalfi Coast, I can confidently say I know and appreciate traditional Neapolitan cuisine. Sadly, this restaurant was a major disappointment.
The bruschette were completely burnt and the tomatoes unseasoned. The octopus alla Luciana was inedible—overcooked and unpleasant. The parmigiana di melanzane included cream—a baffling and unacceptable twist on a classic dish. The zucchini pasta was swimming in oil, poorly seasoned, and overall unbalanced.
What’s most frustrating is the clear assumption that tourists won’t know better. This is not the standard of food locals deserve—or that visitors should tolerate.
The final bill was €80. For what? A nice view—partially blocked by plants—was the only redeeming feature.
Do yourself a favour and skip this place. A much better alternative nearby: “Peppina da Renato”
🔹 Recensione in Italiano:
Conto finale: €80. L’unica cosa piacevole? La vista (in parte coperta dal verde).
Evitatelo. Molto meglio...
