Trattoria Pizzeria Il Mandracchio — Restaurant in Gaeta

We ordered spaghetti vongole and a pizza napoletan. The pasta was so salty that it was inedible and had a hair in it. We have given two stars rather than one because the pizza was okay but we have had way better even in a small town in France. The service was very slow and when we wanted to pay, the waitress told us we couldn't pay by card even though there was a card machine, and when the boss was there, he immediately said it was working. We would advise any tourist that visits Gaeta to not spend their money in this restaurant and go somewhere...

This pizza restaurant is just average. Don't expect the best pizza of your life. They also serve local dishes. Maybe before sitting down, it's better to ask if they are offering both options. When we entered they were only serving pizza, then when we were leaving, they were saying to people that pizza was over and they were just serving other food. The service is ok. The restaurant room is just plain and a bit oppressive since there are no windows. Nothing remarkable but still ok for a quick meal if you can't find anythjng...
