Back in 2018 my brother and I randomly ended up at this shop on our way back to Milan. The kindest souls we’ve ever come across. At the time there were a few Bangladeshi men who were working here. They told us their stories of being refugees from Syria and that they were waiting on their paperwork. They refused to let us pay when we shared we were also Bangladeshi origin and to our surprise even pulled out their own lunch/dinner of home food they had brought for themselves. Felt right and home and were some of the kindest kindest people we’ve ever come across. It’s 2023 and still my brother and i think of this shop and the people from time to time.
