My friend and I stopped here for lunch on a bike ride from Genoa to Camogli. This is the best restaurant I’ve been to in Italy so far.
I ordered the focaccia with arugula (rocket), tomatoes, and cheese. The focaccia was savory, fresh, and delicious. The freshness of the tomato and arugula balanced the dish well. The linguine with prawn and shrimp was excellent. It was made to order and the seafood tasted like it had been caught that day. My friend ordered a potato and seafood dish with pesto. The potatoes were hot, the fish was tender, and the pesto sauce was nutty and fresh. While we waited for our food, the server brought classic focaccia and potato focaccia. The bread was fluffy, had a nice crunch, and was delicious.
The server joked with us the entire meal and was very kind and approachable. She was attentive without being overbearing.
