My friend and I ate over a week ago. We were already going to order appetizers, but the waitress insisted that we also do the antipasto misto di frutti di mare crudi. We did, because she told us how fresh it was, but it did not seem completely fresh. The shrimp were not cleaned properly, they had the black vein in them, and some of the other pieces seemed like they should have been better prepared. Unfortunately, my friend and I do not eat fresh seafood all of the time, so we were not sure what to look for. Within 24 hours we were both sick and it took us about two days with one of those being a day of fasting to recover—and a trip to the pharmacy for medications. The wine, we tried to order a particular bottle, because we liked that specific bottle, but she recommended a different one to us which we took. The first courses were OK, some of my pasta was not cooked completely, even though it was tossed in the sauce. The other hot appetizers that we ordered were OK, but nothing to write home about. There was so much food with the original appetizers that we ordered, that I feel like she was taking advantage of us by insisting that we get the fresh seafood appetizer also… It was enormous. we were in Italy for two weeks which made us sick ended up being possibly the most expensive meal we had during our days traveling. The location is really beautiful, and the lady who was our waitress was kind, there were two or three other people eating there when we arrived. I liked that the atmosphere was quiet, and the appearance of the restaurant seemed very clean and it was right on the water. I looked in the fresh seafood refrigerator box and the package, which had a date on it was not expired—but maybe the refrigerator needs to have its temperature checked. Seeing the other reviews on the fresh seafood here over the last year, it seems like the restaurant has...

The experience was kind of weird. One of the female staff seemed annoyed with us because we took a long time to order. The menu was in Italian so we needed to translate it first which is no problem but at least give us some time.

The male wait staff was very nice. But everybody was so rushed and I got a feeling they are rushed by the bosses. This does not set a professional example. Most of the staff was running around looking stressed out.

The food took forever to come out. The pizza and pasta was okay and nice taste. The mixed grill for fish which was 25 euro for 2 persons was terrible. The fish was not fresh at all and the taste was funny. I hope i won't get sick tomorrow if so i will edit this review.

This was the first restaurant in Italy which made me feel not welcomed and I will not...

Tasty food, big or I would say even huge portions. Very good wine. Really nice ambience and view. Staff was polite and kind, even though during one visit 5 different people were serving us.

What we really don’t understand is why all of us got dish with 15 min delays - first person already ate and the next one was getting plate. Absolute shock was waiting for plate of fried orata 35 min after everyone else finished. Other tables were more or less getting plates in same time. We came to eat dinner together, turn out we all ate alone…

From little things - no wet wipes or plate for peels while eating shrimps and very uncomfy seats and tables that made us feel like they’ll break in few seconds.

No apology for...
