Ristorante l'ulivo — Restaurant in Gonnos/Gonnosfanadiga

Such a lovely restaurant to spend an evening at. We were amazed by the mixed antipasti, which were five separate plates of delicious antipasti (swordfish, seadas, croquettes, mussels, sardinian bread + cheese + plum marmelade, the descriptions by the staff were more elaborate! ^^)

They were so kind to print us an English menu (the menu changes every fuew days) and also, my brother and I are vegan and they were so kind to talk us through what they could offer for us. We were so happy with the zucchini in tomato gazpacho and vegan seadas, as well as the paccheri in tomato and lemon zest sauce, and papardelle in zucchini pesto! We had a lovely evening here, and would totally recommend visiting for a fine Sardinian...

MOLTO DELIZIOSO!! This restaurant is outstanding - the three girls who worked there yesterday were so warm and welcoming and dedicated. The location with the little veranda is so nice an beautiful and it’s cozy and precious at the same time. The food I don’t even know where to begin. We ate there yesterday and we are still dreaming and talking about our food there with fresh vongoles. I had the Fregola and it was so delicious and made with love and just perfect. We just loved everything about that restaurant....

Excellent menu in a nice setting with private outdoor terrace. Zuppa di cozze prepared simply with basil and fresh tomatoes. Tagliolini with eel and mint provided nice balance of flavours. Cernia also excellent. Service was perfect. Music selection much to my liking (60's, 70's, 80's classic rock played at a background level). Dinner for two, no wine was just under €50.
