One of the best meals that as a family we have had, an amazing evening. For somewhere so unassuming, in fact we stumbled on it by chance (thanks goodness we did), it delivered beyond any expectations. Having arrived a little early for our table we had cocktails which were amazing and a wonderful precursor to the main event. At our appointed time Paolo took us through to our table, timings important as Paolo gives each table his full attention, and clearly explained the menu and the choice of wines to accompany our choices. The delivery of the information was done in a very non obsequious way, in fact it was fascinating listening to someone so passionate about their trade. The food was divine, octopus, steak tartare, pork belly (cooked for 24 hours), tuna and venison ribs, truly a fiesta of flavours accompanied by wonderful complementary wines suggested by Paolo. To expensive and service was bad.

They make the entrees and the main course at the same time. I wasnt even finished and they already tried to take my plate, just because i said it wasnt empty they didnt take it. After we were finished with our entree our main dishes came immediately after, that is obviously why they took my plate in the first place. Our main dish was also cold because of that. Price of the dishes were outrageous, €30 for 3 small pieces of beef and some greens. €25 for just a standard burger. And everything was cold. We ordered wine for the entree and the main course, but the main course wine didnt came on time, we had to ask the waiter for where our wine was, als they forgot one...

I had a lovely meal here today. The venison was delicious and the fish starter was excellent (the red prawn was the star of the show). Everything that my family had was excellent too (tarteflet and meat/cheese boards were really nice). The waiter/owner was very knowledgeable and gave excellent info for each item including drinks.
