Open later in the day next to the castle which was a big positive. Staff spoke English, knew their stuff and friendly. Great wines served at small portions for the cost. Excellent mixed antipasto plate, which was good value at 35 euros featuring local specialties. However, the main meals were average, small portions of meals that appeared to be reheated - e.g., riso croccante and a piece of cannelloni ragù for 12 and 15 euros respectively. The veal was enjoyable. Expensive cover charge at 2.5 euros per person with only one serve of bread at the table, and water at 2.5 euros per serve. Grinzane Cavour is known for its castle, but stay for the food at Vineria Sisu. The owner is a lovely woman who makes great good with local ingredients. La prima volta che ci sono entrata sono stati molto gentili, abbiamo fatto aperitivo con un tagliere di salumi molto buono. Peccato che non sia stata la seconda volta così....seduti fuori perché la giornata lo permetteva, arriva Cristina con aria scorbutica,chiediamo due aperitivi con qualcosa da stuzzicare, la sua risposta; per dir la verità la cucina è ancora aperta🙄 vedo se ci sono delle patatine. Allora carissima Cristina ora ti rispondo, se avessi voluto pranzare ti avrei chiesto il menù, in tutti i posti che ho girato non mi hanno mai risposto così e gli aperitivi me li hanno sempre serviti con uno stuzzichino senza mai avermi fatto pagare 2€ lo stuzzichino.

Basta guardare alcune critiche fatte dai clienti e la risposta maleducata della titolare verso il cliente. Sicuramente se continua con questo atteggiamento la clientela si ridurrà di parecchio. Dovrebbe accettare anche qualche critica e prenderla per buono per...
