⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Culinary Gem with Heart and Soul: Dal Capitano, Nebida Tucked away in the breathtaking coastal village of Nebida, Dal Capitano is not just a restaurant—it’s an experience that warms the heart and delights the senses. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality, thanks to the incredibly attentive and customer-oriented owner. Their passion for creating a memorable dining experience is evident in every detail, making you feel like an honored guest rather than just a patron. The menu is a celebration of Sardinian culture, thoughtfully presented in multiple languages for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re a local or a traveler, you’ll appreciate the rich variety of authentic specialties, each dish crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The flavors are nothing short of spectacular — every bite is a journey through the island’s culinary traditions, from the delicate seafood to the hearty pasta dishes. But the magic of Dal Capitano doesn’t stop at the plate. The stunning view of the coastline is the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable meal, turning the lunch or dinner into a moment of pure joy. It’s the kind of place where time slows down, allowing you to savor not just the food, but the beauty of Sardinia itself. If you’re looking for a dining experience that combines exceptional taste, genuine hospitality, and a view that takes your breath away, Dal Capitano is an absolute must-visit. A huge thank you to the owner and team for creating such a special place and great experience today — we’ll be back again and again! 💛

Sushi grade tuna for sashimi AND Japanese style rare tuna steak KATSU yes please! Sashimi was perfect though served soy sauce in plastic containers… Ordered the KATSU (not panko breaded) and served the soy sauce and the tomato mayo that was also served with my friend clam balls (not bad but too similar), plus the silver skin wasn’t removed (which it is for the shashimi). All in all a good place to eat especially as there is not many options in this town. But pass on the KATSU, get the shashimi. Oh and they recommended the salad which was brought without a salad dressing and then handed me packs of mayo and ketchup and added vinegar, salt and pepper packets to it as if that was acceptable. Haha even if that is typical… come in Italy you can do better than that, you can make a vinaigrette at least 😅… so skip the salad and get a pizza- for the price I’m sure it would bring value. Half liter of the house white wine is advisable, so is the tiramisu 🍻

Dal Capitano= captain of a divine culinary experience 🤌 We visited on a very special occasion (engagement dinner) on a Wednesday evening and were just amazed by a number of things: 1) FOOD: the fish was as fresh as can be and the preparation also appealed to the eye. My girlfriend/fiancee had some special wishes and she was also happy with what was offered. 2) AMBIENCE: I called a few days before asking them to make her feel particularly welcome by arranging a nice table. And the roses they got were even nicer than those I bought the night before. What an incredible surprise! 3) SURROUNDINGS: pro tip - get there 30-60 minutes before dinner and enjoy the amazing sunset either at the hill right in front of the restaurant (be prepared for a steep 5 minute climb though) or just take a flat walk around the hill. It's absolutely stunning and worth it 🌄

The restaurant has a great view. Unfortunately the service was the worst we have experienced in Sardinia and the food was below average. The waitress was unhelpful from the offset. She gave us Italian menus that we (being English) could not read. Then didn’t come back to the table for a full 15 minutes before we could request some English menus. Then we ordered our food. We pointed to each item in the menu as we ordered it so there would be no mistakes. The food came after about 25 minutes. My partners & sons food came and I waited a further 10 minutes as they ate their food before I asked where mine was. She then told me I had not ordered it. So I let it go and just shared my sons kids pizza. Then when u asked for her attention for a desert menu she rolled her eyes. After this she did not come back to the table and for another waiter we had not met yet to serve us for the rest of the meal. Then when it came to pay and I needed to pay by card. The waiter went off to get the card reader and didn’t return for 10 minutes...I ended up having to walk to the bar and pay their.

As for the food. The bread was stale. The pizza was...
