Su Mustazzeddu — Restaurant in Iglesias

The place was inviting, there were lots of people outside, but still had empty tables, so we were expecting to be seated outside, but we were instructed to go in. The place was air conditioned but it was only turned on after 20 minutes when we were already sweating and joking about us being cooked for the other guests because the waiting time was so much. While we waited an elderly couple left because the waiters couldn't provide menus for them, and after them a family of four left even though they got to see the menu. They made the right choice to be fair. My girlfried wanted to order the pasta with shrimp, but they said they didn't have any shrimp left, so we stuck with the meats. Our food arrived after about 40 minutes of waiting (we also ordered drinks but didn't receive them even after finishing our meals), and the "grilled meat platter" had no sides, only a quarter of a tomato and a couple pieces rocket. When we asked for the check they still counted the drinks we ordered so we had to complain about it, but they were fair and we didn't have to pay for it. When we left we saw lots of guests in the outdoors section and they were all served and eating, we have no clue why we weren't served in time. Terrible service. We ate outside since it was warm and sunny. However, our table wobbled, which was easy to fix. What was a bit harder to deal with was the infestation of flies everywhere, and the fact that the waitstaff completely ignored us, such that it was impossible to tell who was the grandmother taking care of the waitress's baby or was she a waitress herself? In any case what should've been a half hour stop turned into almost 2 hours because the food came randomly and was served well after the people next to us, and who came half an hour after us, were served. Niestety, muszę wystawić złą opinię. Byliśmy jakiś czas temu na Sardynii ekipą, mieliśmy obok tej restauracji nocleg. Poszliśmy pewnego wieczoru, głodni, trochę zmęczeni ale mimo wszystko pozytywnie nastawieni. No i teraz żeby nie było - oceniam z perspektywy mojej osoby. Z tego, co wiem, reszta ekipy była zadowolona. Ja zamówiłem stek z konia - pani kelnerka mówiła nawet dobrze po angielsku, ale dwukrotnie dopytywaliśmy czy na pewno mają ten stek. Po zapewnieniu, że tak, czekaliśmy na jedzenie. Ja dostałem jako ostatni pastę z krewetkami. Powiedzieliśmy, że to nieporozumienie, bo chciałem stek z konia. Pani przeprosiła, ja powiedziałem, że okej, chętnie zjem to danie. Powiedziała, że nie nie, już robimy stek z konia i jeszcze raz przeprasza. Po kolejnych 20 minutach przyszła do mnie z... ośmiornicą. Zapadła cisza przy stole, ja byłem w szoku i nie wiedziałem, co powiedzieć. Pani usłyszała, że to chyba nie jest stek z konia i o co tu chodzi. Pani przeprosiła, wzięła to danie, zaniosła gdzieś i... wyszła z restauracji 😂 Po następnych 10 minutach przyszedł do mnie sam kucharz z pytaniem, jak chcę mieć zrobiony stek - na krwisto, medium czy rare. 15 minut później kucharz przyniósł mi stek z dwoma liśćmi sałaty i plastrami pomidora. Zaczynając jeść stek poczułem, że mięso kompletnie nie jest doprawione... ale tak zero, nic. Kucharz został poproszony o przyprawy, przyniósł je. W dalszym ciągu było to danie 2/10 i musiałem przepotężną ilość soli dołożyć, żeby w ogóle to zjeść. Zapłaciliśmy, wyszliśmy. Wychodząc minąłem Panią kelnerkę od niefortunnego zamówienia, która karmiła jakieś małe dziecko pastą z krewetkami, którą dostałem przy pierwszej pomyłce. Jak ja żałuję, że nie pozwoliła mi sobie zostawić...
