My family and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Salvo Cacciatori, and I must say that our experience surpassed all expectations. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting atmosphere that set the stage for an unforgettable evening.

Let me start by raving about the incredible dishes! As part of their degustation menu, the octopus and risotto stole the show, delivering flavours that delighted our senses. The octopus was tender and bursting with flavour, while the risotto melted in our mouths with its creamy perfection.

From a restaurant in the Michelin guide you expect more. The food basically was tasteless. Ingredients where good, but just boring, no taste. We ordered a fish to share and it was cooked well and fresh but no taste at all. With salt and black pepper we had to make it decent. The fresh vegetables were way overcooked. Pasta’s were boring and tasteless although on the menu they looked super interesting. Also the eggplant starter looked promising but was completely tasteless. The service and atmosphere are good. But it was a already a bad sign that on a Friday night in high season the place was empty. Prices would be acceptable if the quality was...
