Godiva Restaurant & Pizza — Restaurant in Isola delle Femmine

We enjoyed our night a lot :) we are staying in this town for a few days and we tried a few restaurants already and this one we enjoyed the most :) the best food and the best service! In all the other restaurants the staff is not trained and very slow and chaotic, Not here in Godiva :) the sir that was taking care of us was really great :) Answered our questions and never left us with dirty plates on the table or anything :) really great :) also the offer of pizzas is incedinle and super unique and they are really good :) we recommend any pizza with the Straciatella cheese, that was incredible :) we will definitelly return again during our stay! Even tho prices are higher, it is definitelly worth it for the service and delicious food ;) also the octopus tentacle as a starter is incredible! :) highly recommend! Also I would recommend the restaurant to update their opening hour because they are open way more than Goofle says! The food was good however we were there end of April and they placed us outside. After sitting down we asked them that we would like to change the table because it was pretty windy and therefore cold. We were there with our thin winter jacket/ coats but it was still cold. Our waiter was very friendly and asked the boss right away if we could sit a bit back, where it‘s much warmer. Unfortunately the boss said no. Even though there were plenty of empty tables sheltered from the wind. We ate our food which was good but cold within a few minutes. After that we paid immediately and mentioned that we are freezing and have to leave. Then we realized that there are many tables inside but it seems like they just didn‘t want us to sit...

Location: facile da trovare, appena all'ingresso di Isola. Arredo moderno e curato. Lo spazio all'aperto si affaccia sul un porticciolo.

Menu: Antipasto di frittura mista del giorno fresco e la porzione può essere tranquillamente divisa per due persone. Ostriche freschissime. Pasta ai ricci e pasta ai gamberi/funghi/ricotta salata ottime e prezzi onesti.

Servizio: Personale gentile e cortese ma l'attesa dei primi, eccessiva! Anche per questo motivo, anziché 5 stelle ne ho date 4.

Conto: I primi hanno un prezzo onesto anche se nel conto si sono verificati alcuni errori: ad esempio la somma dei primi veniva 29 euro ma la cifra è stata arrotondata magicamente a 30 euro. Cara l'acqua (4 euro una bottiglia, sopra la media dei prezzi).

In definitiva consigliato ma devono sistemare qualcosa.

Ci sono riandato di recente, questa volta per la pizza e non per il ristorante la cui recensione trovate sopra.

I tempi di attesa questa volta, per il reparto pizzeria, sono stati molto migliori.

L'antipasto l'ho trovato nella norma con patate fresche non surgelate e panelle e crocchette buone.

La pizza mi è piaciuta molto, principalmente per la pasta morbidissima, soffice e non gommosa. Tra le più tenere mai assaggiate.

Confermo la gentilezza del personale, sempre disponibile, scherzoso e cordiale. Sicuramente un punto di forza.

Ahimè é la proprietà, nella veste di chi è alla cassa, che invece continua ad essere la parte più debole: Al momento di pagare, nonostante avessimo prenotato con The fork e all'arrivo, al momento di ordinare le pizze, non abbiano detto nulla, non hanno accettato lo sconto che ci spettava dicendo che lo sconto valeva per il ristorante e non per la pizza. Peccato che non sia scritto esplicitamente da nessuna parte e non venga evidenziato nemmeno al momento di prenotare. Secondo la proprietà lo si doveva evincere dal fatto che, osservando il menù associato a the Fork, si doveva notate che non figuravano le pizze. Bah! Tra l'altro lo sconto complessivo sarebbe stato 6 euro. Ci sono stati tolti solo 2 euro. Non credo che con 4 euro in più sarebbero impoveriti ma al contrario avrebbero fatto una figura sicuramente...
