Il Gabbiano - Stintino — Restaurant in Isthintini/Stintino

Today is our last day here. I feel so lucky to find this gem in stintino… this is the BEST restaurant we’ve had in the past few days. The fish as a starter is super fresh, the seafood pasta is cooked perfectly ❤️👍, the pizza is also not bad.

With a perfect view, nice table setup, professional service, Is a 5/5 star restaurant for sure. And yes the price is slightly higher than other restaurants here, but, come on, you’re paying for a better food, service, and the amazing view;)

I doubt why such an amazing restaurant only have 3.9stars on Google? Is nowadays people doesn’t know how to judge what good food...

We ordered pizza for the children as the rest of us took some time to decide on what to eat. One of the children got the pizza after a short time, the other two after 45 minutes !!! The pizza would not have arrived if we had not asked repeatedly after them.

Also, the tables which had been seated after us, got their food long before we did.

None of us ate at the same time though, as the food arrived randomly.

As we ordered a bottle of wine, one should think the waiter would leave it by our table, but no. Again, we had to ask the waiter for a refill.

Terrible! We were a family of four for dinner and one person's food only arrived when the others had already finished their meal. And the restaurant was almost empty. Now, I understand why. Not even an apology! We had to ask for drinks more than once because they forgot. In the end, the bill included several extra drinks. They were the ones they forgot to bring. Employees leaning over instead of worrying about customers. Only the waitress, who had little experience, made an effort to try to save the situation with her friendliness. The food below average. poor...
