Raro caso di attività ricettiva e ricreativa gestita con capacità da sardi. Ci troviamo sul litorale della famosa spiaggia La Pelosa, a Stintino. Siamo poco prima de " Il Gabbiano". Il windsurfing Center con annesso Beach Food and Drink (ristobar) è gestito da una coppia di sardi sui 50 anni. Lui assomiglia vagamente a John Malkovich, persona tutta d'un pezzo, si è studiato l'inglese e riesce a gestire dignitosamente i numerosi turisti che non parlano italiano. Si prende estrema cura della struttura, osserva tutto. Non disdegna, peraltro, qualora necessario, di passare la scopa sul plateatico per pulirlo dagli accumuli di sabbia portati dagli avventori e di ripulire i tavoli da carte e avanzi vari. Ci si può scambiare piacevolmente due parole, conosce perfettamente la zona e sa dare informazioni sulle isole limitrofe, sulle strutture ricettive che si affacciano sulla lunga e famosa spiaggia e altro ancora. Ha concepito una scuola di windsurf estremamente funzionale. Ha saputo sfruttare egregiamente gli spazi della concessione demaniale e tutto è ottimizzato al massimo. L'accesso al mare è veloce e le uscite non richiedono eccessivi tempi di preparazione. I prezzi sono tutto sommato onesti, un'ora di lezione privata di windsurf, per fare un esempio, costa €50. Gli istruttori sono capaci e ci mettono impegno. Già con un paio di lezioni si è in grado di arrangiarsi. Il ristobar è piacevole, al banco c'è un ragazzo che si impegna parecchio. La qualità della caffetteria e dei cocktail è buona. I prezzi sono un po' più che medi. Unica nota negativa la moglie o compagna del titolare, persona decisamente antipatica e scortese, che passa la maggior parte del suo tempo a verificare in modo ossessivo che cosa ordina la gente al banco e se poi si presenta in cassa per pagare tutte le consumazioni effettuate. Si percepisce assai poca empatia e molta avidità. Un vero peccato perché toglie almeno una stella alla valutazione...
