Ironically my hotel tried to steer me away from this location and I'm very happy that I instead took the recommendation of a local winemaker, that this was the place to go especially to feed a hungry carnivore who also happens to like a decent wine list. Eating gluten free was no problem here nor was getting fed and the food was extremely good. They also have a fantastic local wine list with the ability to get half bottle servings. Fairly typical dishes of the Marche region. The pasta with rabbit ragout and pistachios was different and quite tasty as was the "fritto misto" with breaded fried meat cutlets and Ascoli style stuffed fried olives and "cremini".. a delightful little burst of sweetness. Sono stato in questo ristorante ieri sera su consiglio del Pineta Hotel, dove alloggiavo. Lo stile del locale è retrò ma curato nei dettagli, con un’atmosfera piacevole e accogliente. Una nota di merito va sicuramente alla ragazza che serve ai tavoli: sempre sorridente, gentile e molto preparata.

Per quanto riguarda il cibo, ammetto di aspettarmi qualcosina in più sia nella composizione dei piatti che nei sapori. Nulla di veramente negativo, ma nemmeno all’altezza delle aspettative create.

Quello che però ha davvero rovinato l’esperienza è stato il momento del pagamento. Alla cassa mi è stato presentato un conto non dettagliato (mai una buona cosa), e il famoso sconto del 15% riservato ai clienti del Pineta Hotel è stato applicato “a occhio” e male: il totale era di 57€, e invece dei 48€ previsti, me ne sono stati chiesti 52€.

Il mio consiglio spassionato: prima di pagare, fatevi portare il conto a tavola e controllatelo con attenzione.
