So I came here tonight with my husband and two children, on first appearance the restaurant looks nice and modern with an outdoor section parallel, I asked to be seated there and someone said something in Italian and pointed outside I guessed that we all had to seat ourselves so we walked round, when entering a waitress came up i asked for a table and she spoke Italian even though I was talking in English and she just kept repeating herself knowing I didn't understand her. then another member of staff said something to her and again we were pointed to were we had to go and left to seat ourselves. I found the staff lacking in acknowledging you as a customer, you almost felt like you were on a conveyor belt and that they couldn't careless. The food was ok the polenta and cod was delicious but other than that everything was mediocre. We didn't stick around for dessert as I didn't want to give them anymore of my money. On returning to our hotel my husband has had an upset stomach although we aren't 100 % sure why but just to be on the safe side I don't think we will return back to this particular restaurant. I'm aware that this is a tourist spot but please remember it doesn't cost anything to smile and greet people nicely especially when they are paying a...
Read moreUnfortunately, despite the good tiramisu dessert, the way I was treated is embarrassing. In the main part, at the entrance, the waiter, when asked about the dessert with coffee and wine, said that, unfortunately, he could not seat me and my wife in the main part of the restaurant. He sent me to the backyard even though less than half the tables were occupied. After I took my place in the garden when ordering, the waiter embarrassedly stated that now you can only eat dinner, not dessert, but as an exception he will agree (I would like to point out that there were 2/3 free tables in the garden as well). I wish I had left at this point. I felt nasty like taking someone else's place for a more suitable client. In 15 minutes my wife and I ate tiramisu, drank coffee and wine. To pay by card you have to go to the cash register (sic!) Because you cannot pay at the table. The whole is 33 Euro. Unfortunately, such a restaurant does not deserve any star for the approach to the customer. Be careful if you want to "only" eat dessert with coffee and wine because this is not the...
Read moreOur waiter ruined our dinner. The food was very good, we were surprised with the truffle pasta that was plated next to our table in a cheese wheel. That was really nice. Also pizza and limoncello spritz was delicious. BUT the waiter that served us (bald man in his 50’s) was so rude. When we came, he didnt even want to talk to us and he almost tossed the pizza on my girlfriend, because of how angry he was doing everything. The worst thing was that he was pretty nice and talkative with the table next to us, but he hated us for some reason. Maybe because we look young? I don’t know, but we’re not coming back ever again even though the food was delicious, but this was the worst service I’ve...
