We had excellent pizzas here! I had the ham and mushroom pizza, my siblings had 4-cheese and salami pizzas. I can't put into words how delicious it was. Later we came back with our parents and we tried pasta, oh, it was fantastic. The reason I give 4 stars for service is that one, bearded waiter looked quite fed up and exhausted and it felt like he didn't want to be there at all. He didn't even look at us to take our orders, we felt like we were a burden to him. I hope he gets some rest soon. The atmosphere is homely and cozy, you can see this restaurant has lots of history and tradition in making quality food, however, the AC was never on and we had a bit of difficulty finding a table for 5 that wasn't in the sun or at a hot spot. Had a great dinner with friends last night, and it turned out to be one of those unexpectedly perfect evenings. We grabbed a table at this cozy spot, and the atmosphere was just right—relaxed, fun, and full of laughter. The star of the night? The pizza. Seriously amazing. The crust was thin and crispy, with just the right amount of chew, and the toppings were fresh and full of flavor. Every slice was better than the last. Ci siamo stati mercoledì 09 agosto 2023, cena di famiglia. Proprietaria molto cortese, locale semplice, ma comunque accogliente. Abbiamo preso: filetto al pepe verde con paratine, filetto alla griglia con verdure grigliate, entrecôte con patatine e orata, vino sfuso bianco frizzante e vino sfuso rosso fermo, tre dolci. Spesa totale 128,40 euro. Il prezzo ci potrebbe stare se la carne fosse stata di qualità, in realtà non lo era; ma poi ti trovano la solita scusa che se la chiedi ben cotta è normale che diventi stopposa... tutte balle, se la carne è di qualità anche ben cotta si scioglie in bocca. Orata servita intera, che per fare scena ci sta, ma secondo il Galateo, il pesce va servito intero e successivamente sfilettato e pulito dai camerieri, se si è al ristorante. Il giudizio finale sarebbe stato 2 o al massimo 3, ma abbiamo deciso per 1 perché alla fine è arrivata la ciliegina sulla torta, dove proprio ci siamo sentiti offesi oltre che increduli su ciò che stavano ascoltando le nostre orecchie. Arrivati alla cassa c'era un signore, abbiamo chiesto il conto e alla mia richiesta se era possibile pagare con l'American Express mi ha risposto: "no perché è una carta da poveri che la usano solo per gli sconti". Increduli abbiamo chiesto spiegazioni e ci ha ripetuto lo stesso concetto. Abbiamo pagato con un'altra carta. Fermo restando il diritto dell' esercente di non accettarla, trovo assurdo rispondere così a dei clienti: praticamente ci ha dato dei poveracci perché usiamo l'American Express.
