Osteria Frà Goloso — Restaurant in Jesolo

Spaghetti al nero di seppia was not so good that I did not finish it at all. Found it too salty and the squid added was not so good. It is not what I had just 2 months ago from a restaurant in Venizia Mestre. My husband, however, was lucky with his food. He liked it a lot. It was a mixed of meat. It was very tasteful. I could recommend it. We came early so we had some aperol spritz paired with some deep fried dishes that costs 12 euro. Funny this restaurant still have a section where you can smoke. Owners were hard-working and though they could not speak much English, it went well. When the waitress asked what I wanted, I told her to give me time as I am googling the name of the dishes. When a non Italian couple sat beside us and asked about the dishes, this same waitress said, just google:) Even if the food I chose was not my liking, I will give this a 4. This is the 3rd time my husband and I had the pleasure of having dinner at Osteria Fra Goloso and our experience was just as wonderful as the very first time we dined here.

In addition to the food being absolutely delicious and beautifully presented, the ambiance and the atmosphere in the restaurant is so charming and it feels like your actually dining in someone’s home because the decor gives you that feeling.

We love this restaurant and it is one the first places we go to when we vacation in Lido do Jesolo. I highly recommend Osteria Fra Goloso to anyone in search of authentic, delicious Italian food while in the area.

Charming little restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine, great prices and wonderful service. We immediately fell in love with this little gem just outside the touristy main street. I had one of the best beefsteaks of my life, there was great home made pasta and a delicious tiramisu as well as Mascarpone Creme with fresh strawberries and some dry fruits soaked in Grappa (careful with that one! 😅). The service was exceptional and my little daughter had a great time admiring the various birds in their birdcages and even got some candy on the house - we also received some almond schnapps from the owner, a very nice older gentleman who seems to run the establishment with his family, at least that is the vibe we got.
