A rather mediocre experience in a huge place, let me explain:
The service was inattentive. There was no oil or vinegar on the table for the mixed salad, and we only received some after explicitly asking. After finishing our meals, no one cleared the plates, and we weren’t asked if we wanted dessert.
A TV in the dining area was showing a World War II documentary, which didn’t suit the setting. The restaurant is large, nicely decorated, and smartly divided into different sections, but despite this, the atmosphere felt impersonal. This was likely due in part to the waiter’s disinterest and the fact that our food and drinks were brought out by a total of six different staff members. The entire operation seemed overly focused on efficiency, with a clear intention to turn each table two to three times per evening.
Strangely, although we paid a coperto, we only found mayonnaise and ketchup in plastic packets on the table—no bread or grissini were served.
The food was mixed. The Pasta Arrabbiata was very good (8/10), as was the octopus salad, which came with a wonderful warm eggplant purée (8/10). The seafood pizza (6/10) and the burger (6/10) were both mediocre. The Caprese pizza was quite good (7/10). However, the Spaghetti alle Vongole were poor—just plain spaghetti with some clams and no real flavor (4/10).
We had a pleasant enough evening and left feeling full, but we won’t be returning to...
Read morerestaurant not worth attention, when I ate half a dish and reported the remarks, the waiter did not give any explanation and left, instead a second one came with the bill, I asked for a discount, I just asked, I didn't request, I also said that I could pay the whole amount and the first waiter slammed his hand on the table saying that I should pay and leave, it is not about the food but about the lack of professionalism of the waiter, such a show is a scandal, how can you slam someone's hand on the table and laugh at someone while working in a restaurant, in response from the restaurant an attempt to whitewash - this is normal, not a word about the waiter's behavior, only the guest is angry.. I have worked half my life in gastronomy and I do not recommend this restaurant, let alone the meat in it..

Read morePomodoro manages which so many other places simply can't, namely to stand out from the crowd of all the boring, tasteless Jesolo-promenade-restaurants. And they do it with a cosy atmosphere, comfy seats, nice waiters but most of all perfectly fine food with high quality ingredients. We tried their carbonara, the cheeseburger, which were both great, but by far the best was their pizza. I highly recommend to try Amalfitana, with shrimp tartare, yellow and red tomatoes, burrata cheese and lime slices on top. The best pizza I have ever...
