The owner is very nice, no questions, however, the food we got was not very good. The food we got was cold and didn’t look like they cooked it but rather warmed it. The mussel soup I got tasted very strange, I believe it was not fresh, I got served mussels with broken shells, moreover, it got sand in them, which indicates it wasn’t cleaned properly. The pumpkin ravioli appetizer was rather cold and didn’t taste fresh. Tiramisu was dry. I honestly do not understand where are all the good comments coming from. I usually do not give harsh criticism but this time I couldn’t, this was not acceptable.
Edit: We were served exactly pumpkin ravioli, the owner trying to make us look foolish, good try. You never asked us if the food was good or not. We are never coming back again, and will not recommend to anyone.
This is not intended to insult your work, but rather a suggestion how you can improve, by not serving cold food and serving fresh mussels, this is not too much for asking.

Read moreVery rude lady! The place was totally empty, however they would not give us a table unless we had a reservation. Ok, but the worst part is that our 5 year old was holding his pee for over 1 hour in the car as we were arriving the city, and they would not let him use the restroom. A kid!!! Apparently you can use the bathroom only if you are a customer, which we were going to be anyway. You should go elsewhere, as they have terrible service and manners.
The most hilarious part is that they expected me, a tourist, to know that I have to call in advance. And she says it is my mistake, a paying customer! Italy sometimes seems it has a third world mentality. We just had a wonderful lunch 200 meters...
Read moreWe had a WONDERFUL evening here last Friday! The restaurant is run by family and the menu changes daily to include two meat dishes and two fish dishes. We would like to thank our friendly waiter who kindly chatted to us in (excellent!) English and laughed when we wanted to try both Ichnusa beers for the heck of it. The starter was a small dish of locally made treats we enjoyed to no end. We then ordered the spaghetti with clams and the tagliatelle with cabbage - both fantastic - before we enjoyed the pork with lemon and ginger. Thrilled to find this place and we would come back in a heartbeat! Affordable, welcoming, tasty and a great...
