Osteria Gran Ru — Restaurant in La Thuile

We found Osteria Gran Ru by chance and we loved it. If we had had more time, we would eat here every night—much the tastiest food in the town. (I spent the meal trying to guess the ingredients so I can recreate the dishes at home!) Great traditional food, all freshly cooked. Everything was very clean. The decor is pretty and traditional (not the most comfy seats for older ladies, but comfortable enough). The staff were friendly and efficient. My only negative is that it was difficult to reserve a table (the phone number doesn’t seem to be answered).
