Mary's Pub — Restaurant in Lamezia Terme

My first negative experience at an Italian restaurant. We were seated, and then everyone around us was served—they chatted with the other guests while completely ignoring us. They looked at us but just walked away. They eventually took our drink order, and than they want take away our menus. We asked the young waiter to please leave one menu with us so we could at least choose something. He was kind and left one. Then the other waitress came over and took it right out of my hands. After that, we ordered a pizza without a menu—again through the young waiter—and he accepted our order. Then the woman came to our table and said, “You’re not eating!” In the end, the young waiter did bring the pizza, which was actually very good. Meanwhile, the woman collected an empty soda bottle from another table and slammed it right next to us. (Why????) I visited there twice. When I visited there for the first time, I ordered a pizza. Taste was amazing. One small thing was about time. It took 1hour to get my pizza. But I didn't care that much because pizza takes time. When I visited there again. I ordered two menu at the same time. Pizza and contadino. Pizza took more or less 1h again. It's fine. Taste was fantastic. I waited 1more hour for my second menu. It didn't come. I just came out the pub because it was already 10: 30 pm. We went to Mary's based on their rating. Not disappointed at all! The service was impeccable, such a kind young man! We ordered a few of the aperitivi. I will say the croccante di patate are delicious, I'd you're into fried potato yumminess with cheese that is. The casarecchio: YUM! A huge serving (for 2) of all the best cheeses and meats, olives, pomodori secco, etc, that Calabria has to offer; along with 2 good-sized balls of fresh mozzarella! Can't go wrong!
