Ristorante Villa Moscardo — Restaurant in Lazise

Only opened two months ago by a new team of four, this historic restaurant inside of Villa Dei Cedri, Parco Thermale Luxury Hotel and Spa.. I was beyond pl!!! eased with our most magnificent dinner Last night and the attention and care given to us by the Host and owner Michela. From the moment we entered the Enchanting garden she with a dazzling smile made us feel at home. Her head waiter was just as wonderful😊 The menu is suberb. Michelle and her husband along with the brother of her head waiter are the chefs inside the visible open kitchen. The dining tables are inside the grounds of a medieval castle that is breathtaking. The wind blew gently through the trees, the stars above our heads just added more beauty to the already perfect evening. The FOOD was flawless! We started our meal with the house antipasto... It was the best antipasto I have ever had in my 30 years in Italy. A mixture of both raw and cooked meat and fresh fish as well as burratta cheese from Puglia! elegant and delicious! the staff helped me organise a dinner for a group of 38 people, including 6 children. for the most of us, it was possible to opt for a a menu composed of preselected courses, specifically 2 entrees, 2 first main courses, 1 second main course, and 1 dessert. availability of wine matching our preferences was checked in advance to be granted. everything was extremely delicious, portions were apt, their presentation was mouthwatering, and the wines were the perfect combination. personnel was professional and their courtesy was flawless, from the warm welcoming opening to the goodbye. elegant atmosphere is granted both indoor and outdoors, where the breathtaking surroundings of the villa can't go unnoticed. availability of parking within the villa premises is limited, but worth a try before having to look for a parking spot out of the...

All’arrivo subito una buona impressione dalla location: silenziosa, bella e curata. C’era gente ma non eccessivamente, sì e no 25-30 persone. Ci chiedono subito per l’acqua e ce la vengono a versare. Passano circa 15 minuti e la cameriera viene a prendere l’ordine: due portate a testa più il vino. Nel frattempo si siedono altri tre tavoli e ordinano anche loro. A noi non arriva il vino mentre a tutti e tre i tavoli arriva subito. Aspettiamo 30 minuti e facciamo notare alla cameriera che non ci hanno ancora portato la bottiglia (Amarone della Valpolicella). Subito dopo ce la porta: buonissima. Nel frattempo non è ancora arrivato da mangiare, gli altri tavoli arrivati dopo di noi stanno già mangiando. Aspetta altri 10-15 minuti e vedo la cameriera che viene verso di noi, si ferma e torna in cucina: i piatti escono due minuti dopo. Gli gnocchi molto buoni, i bigoli con ragù d’anatra buoni ma niente di eccezionale. Finita la prima portata aspettiamo circa 15 minuti e arriva il secondo. Arriva prima a me (tagliata di bufala con cipolla caramellata) poi in un altro momento arriva l’entrecot di vitello alla mia ragazza. Entrambi i secondi insipidi, l’entrecot veramente dolce, dovuto alla salsa al Valpolicella versata sopra. Piatto davvero immangiabile! La tagliata di bufala tenera ma insipida, le cipolle caramellate mascherano la carne poco fresca e asciutta (tra l’altro la cottura richiesta al sangue non è stata rispettata, la carne è stata servita media/ben cotta). Il cameriere, quando porta via i piatti, vede che l’entrecot nel piatto non è finita e chiede se fosse tutto a posto. Gli abbiamo fatto notare che era troppo dolce. A quel punto ci si sarebbe aspettato un occhio di riguardo in più dato che il piatto non era stato apprezzato. Abbiamo passato 40 minuti a parlare senza che nessun cameriere si avvicinasse per chiedere se volessimo dolce/caffè/amaro. A quel punto ce ne siamo andati. Davvero una delusione! Al momento di pagare abbiamo dovuto ricordare noi che avevamo preso la bottiglia di Amarone da 45€ (non ci sembrava corretto non pagarla dato che almeno quella era veramente buona). 60€ a testa sono comunque troppi per quello che è stato offerto. Conclusione: se alloggiate a Villa di Cedri evitate di andare a cena in questo posto, la trattoria di fronte è molto meglio e costa meno. Se non alloggiate nell’hotel ma volevate comunque andarci, cambiate meta.
