Gelateria Basilico e Limone — Restaurant in Levanto

For us the best place for an icecream "to Go" in Levanto 😁. The variety of high quality gelato in this small parlour is not too wide though delicous and surprising, as well as changing daily. Try Pineapple Rosemary If you get the Chance, or the nondairy DARK Chocolate Tanzania, or Menta, or ..... all nut varieties are a must as well. If your children are sticking to Vanilla and Straciatella, the classics are always on the menu, and of especially round balance in taste.

You can sit in the quiet, green and shadowy little park next to it, or go up some steps and sit in the sun, watch the sea, surfers (as soon as there are waves) and sunset in the evening.....

The staff ist very friendly und helpful (you can kindly ask for a little try, in case you cannot decide which flavours to choose), one even helped us out with some drinking water refill.

I had heard some stories about tourist traps for gelato. I asked a local where they get their gelato and they recommended this place.
