Piper bar — Restaurant in Levanto

Update: We came back to try another day and there were sunbeds available. Other places charge 40 euro per person (robbery) but here they were much cheaper, like 16 euro for two! Plus friendlier. Definitely hope they stay this way. We brought along focaccia from a bakery on the walk through the center, and had a great great day by Pipers Bar, having some drinks there in the evening. Unfortunately, like other places on the beach, the sunbeds were fully booked. The bar staff here however were friendly, unlike other places along the beach. We also stayed for a drink before finding a spot on the public beach, and returned for an aperitivo. Didn't try the food, but it looked really tasty (a table next to us had a very nice looking portion of bruschetta with tomato and anchovies, I don't even like anchovies but I had a bit of food envy). The old fashioned wasn't really mixed well, lots of sugar at the bottom of the glass, but I enjoyed my time relaxing on their terrace listening to the waves and enjoying the summer. Nous avons payé 44 euros pour avoir 2 parasols et 4 transats. L'homme chargé de nous les donner n'a même pas fait l'effort de parler une fois en anglais alors qu'il nous comprenait parfaitement et qu'il nous a assuré qu'il parlait anglais. Au final : 1 parasol et 4 chaises pliables que l'on a dû mettre en place nous même à l'endroit indiqué froidement par l'homme peu aimable, avec tous nos sacs. 30 minutes plus tard, l'homme et un responsable viennent nous demander de bouger car nous étions trop proches des autres clients. Sauf qu'ils étaient TOUS proches !! Je lui fait remarquer que ça n'a aucun sens car nous sommes aussi proches que tout le monde, et le responsable, ne sachant quoi dire, m'a juste répondu "please" en soufflant...
