A small, non-descript place on the outside that on the inside easily offers the best food and atmosphere in all of Livorno. And that's saying a lot, because if you love seafood and shellfish, Livorno, and Regina dello Scoglio in particular, is for you. Taking 2 hours to eat dinner European style took some getting used to for me, but not at Scoglio; time, and the Lemoncello, just flowed. What an amazing place !!!

I was bumped to find this restaurant on our last day of the holiday.

We had a lovely dinner here, we enjoyed a house wine, delicious appetisers, even better main and yummy Tiramisu ! 😊

Customer service was outstanding! They value their customers a lot and you can tell by their attitude and actions.

If we ever happened to visit Livorno again, we definitely coming back !

Passeggiando lungo il viale a finco il lungo mare, troviamo questo Ristorante proprio di fronte al viale. Siamo in due più la nostra cucciolona (meticcia 17 kg di 11 anni). Chiediamo se i cani possono entrare e ci viene risposto: “se il cane garantisce per voi..allora tu e tuo marito potete entrare 💙”. Così mi hanno CONQUISTATO 🥰! L’interno del Ristorante è ben organizzato, molto pulito e con dettagli molto carini. All’interno hanno anche dei tavoli che danno su un cortiletto interno…chiamato giardino. Ci sediamo in uno dei tavoli di questo “giardino” e la nostra cucciola è a suo agio e si sdraia a terra rilassata. Conosciamo HANS, italiano con nome tedesco che ci accompagnia con la sua professionalità, gentilezza, simpatia e soprattutto i suoi consigli sul cibo e sul vino. Cominciamo con un antipasto MISTO MARE ( ottimo tutto, ma il tortino è veramente eccezionale 🤩) e la ZUPPETTA (scampi, gamberi, impepata di cozze, vongole, seppie, polipetti e crostino ammollato nel sugo) ottima ed abbondante. Il tutto accompagnato con un Pinot Grigio fresco. Abbiamo saltato i primi e abbiamo preso un FRITTURA MISTA SENZA PARANZA e una TAGLIATA DI TONNO SU CROSTA DI SESAMO. Anche questi molto buoni ed abbondanti. Come contorno le classiche PATATE FRITTE. Pieni e soddisfatti, concludiamo con un Sorbetto “modificato da HANS” …ottimo, fresco e digestivo 👍🥰.
