Lovely aquarium! They had a great array of sea life to see and small screens by each tank that told you about each fish and some fun facts about how they live. The shark and turtle tank was my favourite, and the ray tunnel is a close second. Lots of information available about each animal, and a section dedicated to explaining plastic waste in the ocean and sea turtle rehabilitation. Most of the information boards were in both Italian and English (and I think french) which was super useful. Some enclosures seemed rather small for the type or number of fish in them, but overall most tanks were decorated and very natural looking. There is an insect and reptile floor also, which was small but had a good selection of critters! I visited quite late in the day so I couldn't spend as much time here as I'd have liked, and the gift shop was quite expensive. A nice activity if you're in Livorno, I would love to visit again!

Nice Aquarium to visit during a raining or even a hot day. It is not that large, you will spend 1 to 1.5 hours inside. Visited on a weekday during high season. No waiting queue and parked at the front door (about 3eur for 2 hours). Bought the entrance tickets online at the aquarium itself (requires creditcard) and the sooner you do'll this, the more discount you get. Facilities are okay, but there is option to buy some food.

It is a great place to show sea life to your children. It is a bit time fatigued, but it is Italy, so sun made it like that. It has a nice observation deck though, where one can see really far away, incl. many ships approaching port. Next to it there is a water park, so the whole day can be easily spent there. An in the same building there is a very good restaurant as well, does not belong to aquarium though.

L'acquario di Livorno è davvero un posto cool da visitare! Se ami il mondo marino, questo è il posto giusto per te. È come immergersi in un altro mondo senza nemmeno bagnarti i piedi! All'interno dell'acquario, ti trovi circondato da creature marine di ogni forma e dimensione. Ci sono pesci colorati che sembrano usciti da un cartone animato e squali che ti guardano con occhi curiosi mentre nuotano sopra la tua testa attraverso un tunnel trasparente. È come fare un viaggio subacqueo senza nemmeno indossare la muta da sub! Una delle cose che adoro di questo posto è quanto sia educativo. Ci sono pannelli informativi ovunque, quindi puoi imparare un sacco di cose interessanti mentre ti diverti. È perfetto se sei un appassionato di biologia marina o se semplicemente vuoi conoscere meglio il mondo sottomarino. E se hai dei bambini, li adoreranno sicuramente. Vedere i loro occhi illuminarsi davanti ai pesci colorati è impagabile. Inoltre, c'è un'area giochi carina proprio fuori dall'acquario per far sfogare l'energia dei più piccoli dopo aver visto tutti quei pesci. In definitiva, l'acquario di Livorno è un posto fantastico per una gita divertente e istruttiva. È un vero gioiello nascosto che tutti dovrebbero scoprire!

Well ... i just was right there with my husband. That place is much overpriced for this what is inside. We paid 14€ per person and it's way too much just for the few tanks of fishes and corals. I expected much much more because i already saw aquarium in Gdynia (Poland) where price was lowere and tons of things more to see. Here is just a waste of money. At least all creatures was amazing.

L'Acquario è molto bello! Troverete le tartarughe giganti verdi, meduse, vari coralli, pesciolini grandi e piccoli coloratissimi e addirittura anche trasparenti! Pesce palla, razze e alghe marine ! Rettili ! Purtroppo alla biglietteria non ci hanno comunicato nessuna attività per i bambini mentre a fine percorso abbiamo trovato un laboratorio appena finito, sarebbe stato carino farlo. Lo shop prezzi alti ma come di consueto in ogni luogo di attrazione! Lo staff potrebbe dedicarsi di più ai visitatori. L'acquario si trova lungo il mare proprio nel centro di Livorno, accesso diretto sulla splendida Terrazza Mascagni , comodissimo parcheggio a pagamento . Il bar in gestione è fronte mare e ruota panoramica, con tavolini all'esterno molto carino ( poco cordiale il personale al bancone). Ci sono dei giochi vicino molto belli, fra cui altalene e degli scivoli. Tutta via....Si possono migliorare l'accoglienza, le attività e la cordialità dello staff sia dell'acquario che del bar ;)
