Il Portichetto — Restaurant in Loano

I am editing my previous review which was 5 stars... Unfortunately, the last time we tried to eat here we were treated very badly. We have been going here for some time now, and it has always been great food, with friendly staff, and reasonable service. On this occasion we arrived when it was busy and we were happy to wait (as they don't take bookings). It was extremely hot, so we asked if we could have a table for 2 around one side of the outdoor seating, rather than the one they had offered, which was in front of the hot kitchen door. We were told twice by the staff member that this was absolutely not possible. Only a minute later, we see the staff moving a table and chairs for 2 around the side where we had asked to sit. They placed other customers there when they had already told us this wasn't possible. It was very insulting as they did this right in front of us without any care. When we challenged this, they had nothing to say. We left after that, and will not be returning.

Ciao a tutti . In data 27 agosto ci siamo recati sotto consiglio di un amica in questo locale. Siamo arrivati intorno alle 20.45 , abbiamo richiesto un tavolo, ma ci é stati risposto che prima delle 22.30 non era possibile sedersi , ma dato che era stato consigliato abbiamo fatto due passi lungo il mare e siamo ritornati per l ora che era stata detta dal signore(con enorme felicità della mia pancia ci veniva dato anche qualche minuto prima :-) Eravamo già arrivati preparati su cosa mangiare e bere grazie al loro sito online , dove era stato inserito il menù . Abbiamo iniziato con due antipasti divisi in 4 : Antipasto misto mare :pesce buono ( i moscardini e le alici marinate top , a mio giudizio i sottaceti in un piatto del genere centrano un tubo) La seppia buona, cotta bene e tiepida ma secondo tutti e 4 mancava quel qualcosa che desse la spinta in più per dire wow . Veniamo ai primi Ravioli al ragù di mare e gnocchi al ragù di mare (leggermente differenti nel condimento , anche se in tutte e due c era la passata , forse interpretato male da noi sul menù pensavamo fosse uno con la passata e uno con il pomodorino fresco ma non importa prossima volta chiediamo )differenti anche nella tipologia di pesci . Erano ravioli o raviolini? Buoni ma il ripieno di magro all interno della pasta stonava con il resto del piatto . Gnocchi buoni : si vedeva che lo gnocco era di qualità morbido e ben fatto il condimento della pasta pure . Tonno in crosta di pistacchi e sesamo: la qualità del Tonno era TOP , la cottura pure è stata buona , l unica cosa che si può consigliare é :"se c'é scritto in crosta di pistacchi e sesamo falla vedere sta crosta " metti anche un euro in più ma sta crosta falla vedere e sentire ( forse era rimasta sulla carta da forno usata per cucinare il tonno alla griglia . Tutto questo veniva accompagnato dal vino bianco (il greco di tufo ) piaciuto anche alle ragazze presenti , buona qualità del vino . Il caffe buono , anche quello mi ha lasciato un buon gusto alla fine .

Il servizio:bravi allo Staff , perché in questo momento anche se sotto la mascherina messa correttamente e usata per tutta la durata della sera hanno saputo interagire con il cliente in modo sereno e con professionalità. Qualità-prezzo corretta. Il portaconto al tavolo in quel quaderno con scritto portichetto sopra potrebbe essere cambiato o sostituito non rappresentava né voi e non sembrava neanche tanto "igenizzato"(meglio portare lo scontrino sul piattino del caffè ... Lo consiglierei =si Ci ritornerei= si Però un consiglio : accettate le prenotazioni telefoniche , perché se non fosse stato perché consigliato ,aspettare abbastanza non tutti lo fanno . P.s. usciti contenti e soddisfatti , ma senza l amaro dato al tavolo affianco consigliato dal ragazzo mannaggia . Buon lavoro...

We liked the most of our food, especially the Pinsa (special kind of pizza) is very tasty. Only the fried calamari was a little boring (in my point of view, but it was surly fresh to be fair).

Normally I would rate that restaurant 4 of 5, but as we needed to ask 3 times for the fried calamari and waited more that 1 hour only for the fried calamari, that's why only 3 of 5.

Maybe it was just a bit busy this day, so you can surly try and give this restaurant a chance. It very charming sitting outside in the...
