Vizi e Virtù — Restaurant in Lucignano

This review is for the experience I had. Maybe for others it was better. Mine was not good. The reason it gets only 2 stars is one for the waitress who was excellent, friendly and attended to the dogs needs by bringing some water without being asked. 😀. The other star is for my meal which was very tasty, even though it was cold. The pasta had a slight bit of heat, but the sauce was like it had come from a fridge. My partner's meal which was pasta with tomato and leek, was bland, cold and tasteless with not even a hint of leek. And to be honest, hardly any tomato. No beers on a very wine orientated wine menu with no single glasses offered (not that I noticed, i could be mistaken). I asked for a beer from the afore mentioned waitress who informed me that they had some in can's so I was delighted, until I saw the size of it. Very small and as I was to find out, very expensive at €5 a can. Ouch.☹️. Finally, after paying the bill, my partner realised that we had been charged for frizzante which we hadn't had and also had no bread brought to the table, but all the other tables had. Ho trovato questo ristorante tramite social. Il post che lo sponsorizzava era accattivante , 1 minuto e 3 secondi di cucina genuina toscana . Mi son detto perché non provare ? Ti accoglie una ragazza molto gentile solare di una bellezza unica , con sorriso e modo di fare come se la conoscessi da sempre . Il ristorante ti affascina subito , é collocato su tre piani in un palazzo storico in uno dei borghi più belli d'Italia, Lucignano (Arezzo). Ha anche un giardino e un vista panoramica sulla Valdichiana che toglie il fiato . Passandonalla cucina ho optato per un antipasto con salumi e e formaggi , erano di janqjalita eccelsa , accompagnati con marmellata di fichi e miele . Tutti prodotti scelti con cura , abbinamenti quasi da sinfonia musicale , il gusto era davvero speciale . Come secondo , ho optato per una tagliata al lardo e crema di ceci , credetemi, la crema di ceci e il lardo erano un tutt'uno con la carne un legame sontuoso che al palato era poesia . Poi ho scelto una portata portata significativa che avevo notato nel post sponsorizzato , polenta e funghi porcini accompagnati da una insalatina di stagione ... Il sapore straordinario , tutto accompagnato da un vino bollicina veneta che ha fatto della cena davvero un momento unico . Ho scambiato due chiacchiere come il propietario e chef del ristorante, persona umile gentile , spiegava i piatti cin una semplicità genuina del toscano d'altri tempi , mi ha accompagnato in una visita del ristorante, come dicevo su tre piani con cantina annessa. Consiglio vivamente di provare questo luogo per la qualità e la preparazione degli alimenti , tutto resta impresso nel palato e nell'anima . We visited the restaurant in October 21, 2024 for dinner. My wife , our 13 year old son , our 12 year old daughter and our little 5 year old daughter. We had pasta, meat and raviolis. A bottle of rose wine and two deserts. All of them just incredible ! The girl that sited us and served us was incredible. The food was magnificent.
