Zenzero Restaurant — Restaurant in Lucignano

Despite the waiter's efforts to provide a pleasant experience, the food was disappointing and not up to the positive reviews. The wild chicken, in particular, was undercooked. Additionally, the restaurant sells perfumes, and the strong scent of various fragrances inside was overwhelming and inappropriate for a dining environment. Unfortunately, I would not return there and would prefer a restaurant that prioritizes the dining experience over selling fragrances.

Later edit: Thank you for your response. It's worth noting that tastes and sensitivities can differ widely. Others in my group also noticed the strong smells, though I am particularly sensitive due to my rhinitis. Regarding the wild chicken, we chose not to say anything at the time because we didn't believe there was anything that could be done to fix it and wanted to enjoy our evening without interruption. The appetizers were enjoyable, but it's natural that not every dish or experience will suit everyone. And that's just fine....

This place was an unexpectedly pleasant experience. We were very reluctant in the beginning as our experiences with other fusion restaurants around were really bad. We had a blue and a red menu, both were very good. Personally, I liked the blue more. It was the first time in a while that I had a dish that didn't matter how you ate it, it was still very good. Had an incredible meal here. This restaurant was such a lovely surprise. The green menu was so light and fresh - perfect for a hot summer day after eating a lot of heavy tuscan food all week. Everything was full of flavor. I absolutely loved the lemon strawberry dessert - one of the best desserts I’ve had in recent memory. Gazpacho was also perfection. It really felt like every dish was an ode to its ingredients.

This restaurant also has a lovely secret garden area - gorgeous ambiance. Service was warm and hospitable....
