Agriturismo Le Dase — Restaurant in Malcesine

On their website it says that the serve lunch on Saturdays and Sundays. So when Travellink through Europe by car from Greece to Sweden we took a two hour de-tour to go to this place that looks absolutely delicious.

So I called and booked a table for 1/10 at 12:00, and when we got there one week later they are not open. I showed the info on the website saying they offer lunch on weekends and I also explained that I called and talked to someone and actually booked a table. Her responsen was just ”sorry, not open”. So no lunch for us. They still have the text on the website saying that the offer lunch, but trust...

My friend and I ordered two steaks, I ordered the beef steak and he ordered the t-bone. The waiter suggested medium so that’s what we went for. The steaks however wasn’t medium, they were borderline raw. When we asked the waiter about it she didn’t really care, she offered us new but at that point we had already eaten about half of it(we immediately noticed that it wasn’t medium, but it wasn’t until that we came to the thicker parts which were raw that we realized that this wasn’t acceptable). Vorab: dir Bedinung war freundlich. Die Lage ist ganz gemütlich, aber etwas warm unter dem Dach. Ein Ventilator o.Ä könnte da schon einen großen Unterschied machen.

Das Essen: Der Fokus liegt hier ja wohl ganz klar auf Fleisch. Und auch wenn die folgende Bewertung vielleicht hart erscheint, möchte ich komplett ehrlich an die Sache rangehen.

1. Ich war noch nirgendwo essen, wo uns so oft gesagt wurde, dass es eine Sache nicht gibt. Es gibt keine Cola Zero, kein Radler geschweige denn Pommes. Es gibt in diesem ganzen Restaurant keine Pommes. Auch wenn bei den Steaks Bratkartoffeln auf der Karte stehen, kann es doch nicht sein, dass es kein bisschen Pommes gibt. Sorry aber das kann doch nicht sein.

2. bestellt haben wir ein gegrilltes Rinderfilet in MEDIUM. Und Medium hervorgehoben, weil es sich hier definitiv nicht um ein Medium gegrilltes Steak handelte. Bilder habe ich hochgeladen. Das ist kein Medium. Punkt. Der Geschmack war okay, eigentlich schönes Grillaroma, aber für ein Filet zu wenig. Der Fokus in dem Lokal liegt halt nun mal darauf und deswegen muss ich doch wenigstens davon ausgehen, dass man das Steak Medium hinbekommt.

3. wie gesagt gab es keine Pommes. Es gibt NUR BRATKARTOFFELN zur Auswahl als Beilage. Und die Bratkartoffeln waren nicht gut. Also tut mir leid, aber so war es. Nicht gesalzen, kein Eigengeschmack.

Insgesamt tut es mir fast leid so eine Bewertung zu geben. Aber genau das passiert halt, wenn man ein klaren Fokus setzt, aber diesen verfehlt. Vielleicht war es auch einfach Pech, aber ich muss das bewerten, was auf...
