This is a bright, contemporary restaurant in Malfa. It comprises of several outside tables and an open indoor area of several tables with one, fairly long bench for larger groups. The menu is very good and we thoroughly enjoyed our choice of the Fish of the Day - a white fish called Mahi Mahi. This was accompanied by side dishes of vegetables and chunky roast potato chips. The dessert of deconstructed Cannoli was delicious. There is background, easy listening, piano music which is fine but I feel Italian music would be more apt. Starting from the idea that everything is very expensive in Salina I'm going to sustain that this place is exaggeratedly expensive for the quality of the ingredients, for the quality of the plates and the environment. A good point on the cordial service. The fish we've ate was not fresh and the dishes were super basic (like less than what I would do at home) and very little. The menu and the food explanations from the staff are not pretentious at all so it's a pleasent surprise to taste their dishes which are the best we had in Salina. Pasta e ceci with octopus is amazing as well as the double cooked octopus , the misto fritto , but my favourite was the pasta ammuddicchiata , perfectly balanced in mixing the traditional ingredients.
