Trattoria Barcaneta — Restaurant in Marano Lagunare

Very disappointing experience. We arrived without a reservation and were left waiting for about 10 minutes, with one waiter saying another would advise us if a table was available — in the end, all of them ignored us. When we were finally seated, it took another 15 minutes just to place our order, and then over 40 minutes for the food to arrive — and even then, the order was wrong.

Our table was placed right next to the entrance, where both clients and waiters constantly passed, pushing or bumping into our chairs, which made the experience very unpleasant. We also noticed that tables with reservations were served quickly and efficiently, while we were not.

The food itself was a mixed experience: the frico was disappointing, the manzo al ferri was the worst cut of meat we’ve ever been served, while the seafood lasagna and the robo fish were the only dishes we actually enjoyed.

Overall, poor service and inconsistent quality. Definitely...

Un ottimo locale dove passare una serata mangiando dell' ottimo pesce.

Ci siamo andati su consiglio di un amico prenotando con un paio di giorni di anticipo per sicurezza. Il locale si trova in una piazza di Marano, tutto molto curato ed ordinato, la location è davvero d'impatto.

Pro posti a sedere all'interno ed all'esterno pesce fresco e preparato al momento pulito personale gentile locale tranquillo, crea intimitá tra i tavoli

Contro non ci hanno portato un menù alla carta, il chè non è un vero problema visto che sarebbe molto variabile cucinando pesce fresco di giornata, tuttavia potrebbe essere utile ai clienti per avere idea di cosa è possibile mangiare in quell'istante. all'esterno potrebbe esserci confusione visto che si affaccia su una piazza dove i bambini, principalmente, si divertono a scorrazzare nei loro divertenti giochi. migliorerei le presentazioni degli antipasti

Conclusioni La cena è iniziata con 3 antipasti crudi e 1 caldo poi, su nostra richiesta, ci hanno portato un branzino diviso a metá (da come lo aveva presentato la cameriera, mentre sul conto erano indicati 2 branzini). Il pesce era ottimo, fresco, morbido e ben cucinato. Porzioni non abbondanti negli antipasti ma siamo comunque andati a casa con la pancia piena, ce comunque da chiarire che in questo locale cucinano PESCE FRESCO e non è un penoso "All you can eat"... Per concludere un tortino al cioccolato con cuore tenero, anche questo buonissimo, un po troppo cotto.

Overall, the food was decent, but not mind-blowing — there was a good ambiance, and we were glad they could accommodate us on short notice without a reservation.

We ordered a seafood pasta as well as one of the fish. The pasta didn't have much of a sauce, except for the olive oil and salt, and the fish could have also had a little more flavor of some kind. Otherwise, it was fresh and the experience was enjoyable. We liked the wine glasses provided at the start...
