We loved this place and Co at understand some negative reviews. We shared delicious homemade gnocchi with sage (fresh) and pumpkin sauce, then I had polpetta with polenta / roast potatoes and vegetables and my husband equally delicious creamed bacalau with polenta. We shared a yummy apple strudel. With non alcoholic drinks this all came to €62 which based on touring Italy from north to south was good value for good, fresh homemade food. The location is gorgeous and we had delightful friendly and attentive service. The prices and menu were clearly displayed but the waitress also talked though the menu. My husband and I stopped here for lunch because the chairs outside looked comfortable and the view of the castle was beautiful. Our waitress, Alaina, was beyond helpful and knew perfect English. We ordered a pumpkin pasta, marinara and mozzarella pasta, cocktail, beer and Apple strudel. The pasta is handmade and The Apple strudel was the best I’ve ever had. Il locale lo conosciamo essendo della zona, non ci siamo mai fermati a pranzare, abbiamo provato. considerato che è un bar/caffetteria siamo entrati con delle aspettative che sono state disilluse nel bene e nel male: nel bene per la scelta di piatti primi e secondi che non ci aspettavamo, abbiamo optato per due primi lasagna al radicchio e risotto alla zucca con tartufo e come secondo un piatto di sopressa con polenta e radicchio. primi apprezzati, porzioni standard, il secondo, ordinato per chiudere il buchetto rimasto con i primi, niente di speciale. nel male: non c'è il prezzo esposto dei piatti ma essendo un bar non ti aspetti 12,5€ a primo e 19€ il piatto di sopressa, capisco poco la giustificazione che è una sopressa nostrana quando una intera da produttore diretto della zona e scontrinata la paghi 30/34€.una tagliata al vicino ristorante costa meno.
