We had an absolutely DELICIOUS experience at this Trattoria in Marsala, and it truly exceeded our expectations! The seafood with couscous is a hidden gem — bursting with flavors and accompanied by a delightful soup that enhances the entire dish. Make sure to ask for it, since it’s off-menu!!

The eggplant caponata was a pleasant surprise, I was so amazed at how much flavor it packed and I kept coming back for more. Our initial order of busciate pasta with pistachio cream was so outstanding that we couldn't resist ordering another kind of busciate pasta, and both were equally fantastic! The noodles were so so fresh.

What sets this trattoria apart, besides the incredible food, is the impeccable and friendly service. The staff was attentive, ensuring we felt well taken care of throughout our meal. We were so impressed with our first five dishes that we decided to indulge in two more — a decision we did not regret. And don’t forget to order the house wine— we ordered the house Catarratto white wine and it went well with the dishes.

This was undeniably one of the best meals we had during our time in Sicily, and we highly recommend this trattoria to anyone in Marsala. If you're seeking an authentic Sicilian culinary experience with outstanding service, look no further....

So we decide to leave our comfort zone and try somewhere new, as its Friday I will try the Couscous, with JP deciding on the spot. A mattarocco bruschetta to start which is up there with the best as the bread is roasted over the grill for an amazing flavour. James asked for the fillet with green pepper and cheese sauce but was guided towards the tagliata, he still had the sauce rather than the usual tomato and rocket....WHAT A SAUCE!!! They should just serve this up in bowls with scoopy chips it really is quite something extraordinary. My Couscous came with huge pieces of Grouper and lashings of sauce so well up to par. Throughout our Sicily trip my girlfriend and I never went to the same place twice, simply because there is so much good food and so many good restaurants to explore. The only exception to that is this restaurant. It is by far the best restaurant in Marsala. No contest. The staff is super friendly and attentive, the place is lovingly decorated, and the prices are fair. It's a short walk from the city so it's not packed with tourists in the evening. The food is extremely well made, with fresh ingredients and attention to detail. The caponata in particular is simply divine. They also offer seasonal food, so definitely ask about that!
