I usually try not to write bad reviews, but in this case, I simply can’t stay silent. They don’t have a wine list or a drinks menu — you have to ask what they have and how much it costs. The food is simply not worth the money. I had octopus and potato skewers — four small sticks with alternating pieces of potato and octopus, all deep-fried. You really had to look hard to find the octopus. It was definitely not worth €16. At most, maybe €7. But fine, let’s leave that aside.

When we got the bill, it turned out there was water on it that we hadn’t ordered, and bottled beer which we had ordered — but we were clearly told it was €7 per bottle, and in the bill it showed up as €16 (!) per bottle. That was just outrageous. When we pointed this out, they said they had mixed up our bill with another table’s.

We were essentially being tricked twice — all the dishes were ours, only the prices were wrong. In the end, after sorting things out, our bill was reduced from the original €75 to €55 — meaning we were overcharged by €20, and we left the place still feeling half-hungry.

It was a very unpleasant experience — something we’ve never encountered before in Sicily.

I absolutely do not recommend this place due to the disrespectful treatment of tourists and the unjustifiably inflated prices for very...

The restaurant offers a warm and well-curated atmosphere, creating a welcoming environment for a memorable meal. The burratina with smoked sardines was an intriguing dish, rich in creaminess and bold flavours. However, the combined richness made it a bit heavy for my taste, and it might have benefited from a hint of acidity, such as lemon zest, capers or pickled vegetables, to bring a bit more balance. The linguini with sea urchin and shrimp was quite delightful, delivering a strong, briny sea taste that truly captured the essence of the ocean, though it was perhaps a touch too salty. The waitstaff were very professional, providing attentive service and offering excellent wine recommendations that perfectly complemented the dishes. Overall, it was an enjoyable dining experience, marked by thoughtful dishes and a comfortable atmosphere, making it a lovely choice for...

Food is pretty good but the experience was poor overall. First and foremost, the staff were snobby and inattentive. From the moment we arrived, we felt unwelcome, like they saw it as our privilege to be eating in their restaurant, when a restaurant should see it as their privilege to be serving their customers. On top of the poor service, the kitchen door was constantly slamming near the room where we were eating, and the room was uncomfortably hot. A genuine smile and some warmth from a hostess go a long way. So does polite and welcoming table service, and bringing the customer a bill in a prompt amount of time when they ask for it. I believe we waited at least 10 minutes after asking to receive ours. All in all, if this restaurant were a person, it would be an...

I’m not sure what everyone is praising in their reviews. We had dinner for four at this restaurant, and the food was awful. We were first served dry, stale bread, and seated outside where we occasionally caught whiffs of a sewer smell. All the fish dishes we ordered were bland and lacked any flavor. The octopus seemed to have just been boiled in plain water and served; it was rubbery and unappetizing. The kids' meal consisted of watery "mashed potatoes," and while the chicken was somewhat okay, it was nothing special. The staff was attentive and friendly, but I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Our bill, which included a bottle of wine, came to 150 euros, yet half of the food was left untouched after just a few bites. A very disappointing experience.

The atmosphere here is truly amazing, and the staff are very attentive and friendly. The menu is clear and well-structured, and overall prices are fair considering the quality, service, and setting. I had the Gamberoni Scottati: the prawns were excellent in taste and perfectly cooked. However, the presentation could be improved — the coarse rock salt under the prawns sometimes ended up on the bite, which completely overpowered the delicate flavors. Also, the bread served on the side didn’t really complement the dish and could definitely be improved. Overall, a memorable experience with great food and ambiance, with just a few details that could be refined.
