Golden Square Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Martignacco

Food was not too bad, curry tasty although it is hard to mess that up but the fried duck was over cooked. Minus eco points though, despite the fact that we ordered 3 drinks (beers and soft drinks) for 3 people (one each) they refuse to serve "back up" tap water, instead only selling water in single use plastic bottles. Serving water in plastic bottles in restaurants should be banned and they should at least give you the option to go plastic free without having to die of thirst, get drunk or get type 2 diabetes from soda...

Came across this restaurant by chance when we visited the mall. The food wasn't too bad. Not the best Thai we've had. Certainly far from the worst we've had. Our standards are high. We had chicken satay which was 3/5 and Pad Thai which was a bit shy of 4/5. It all looks so much better than it tastes. Could have been more authentic. Service was top though. Il giorno sabato 9 di questo mese ero al centro commerciale Fiera di Udine. Mi sono seduto a pranzare in questo ristorante Thai Square e ho chiesto il pranzo fisso di 14,50 €. Mi portano l'acqua, poi l'antipasto di involtini primavera con salsa agrodolce e come primo ho chiesto le mazzancolle di gamberi con verdure in salsa agrodolce e non ho preso il caffè. Dopo del pranzo faccio spesa al supermercato e torno a casa che si trova a 1 oretta dal centro commerciale. 30 minuti dopo la partenza se mi chiudevano gli occhi e sentivo la testa appesantita, sono andato avanti a guidare fino arrivare a casa. Arrivo, metto un film e mi addormento di colpo dopo 5 minuti. Mi sveglio circa 2 ore dopo con un forte mal di testa che c'è l'ho ancora adesso. Infatti oggi sono andato al dottore e ho chiesto dei giorni di riposo. Sono in malattia fino a questo mercoledì compreso. Quindi sconsiglierei proprio di mangiare...
