On the hills of Massa Lubrense, in the village of Metrano, a historic restaurant where the quality and generosity of the dishes has nothing to envy to the "sophisticated" ones offered by many establishments in the area. This was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had in my life. We came in, sat down, ordered some local wine and antipasti. We were expecting to be given a menu to choose our main dishes. However, when we asked for it, the waitress rudely stated that there was none. When we asked what dishes were available, she arrogantly replied that we would eat whatever she told us to.

Such rude and disrespectful behavior towards customers is absolutely unacceptable. The waitress acted as if we owed her something. After such contempt, we were forced to leave immediately.

I’d give it a 0 if I could. We were ignored for 1 hour. Eventually got served (after all the other guests who were local were). We were barked at. And at one point I was called stupid in Italian because I tried to ask for the bill in Italian. Another one of the clientes was just as much a bully as the owner as he kept laughing at it. Small people… I never felt so infuriated and victim of racism like this. Please don’t ever come here. I don’t usually give bad rates but this was outrageous. We are nice people and just wanted a...
