We came as a group of 20, eager to introduce everyone to the fish couscous I had previously enjoyed somewhere else. What a disappointment. This was nothing but a tourist trap: the couscous broth was completely bland, lacking any flavor or spice, served with a single tasteless piece of white fish that seemed to have been defrosted. The other dishes were no better : pasta alle vongole without seasoning, plain white pasta with a few clams thrown in; meat with a questionable taste; and pasta with tomato sauce that was acidic and of very poor quality, seemingly straight out of a cheap canned product.
One of the worst meals I've had in Sicily and I've been coming here almost every year for over 20 years. It's a disgrace to serve this kind of food in a region known for its culinary richness.

For desert we enjoyed a slice of the almond & chocolate semifreddo. Overall, great dinner and good value in a fantastic trattoria specializing in the unique dishes of...
Read moreThe food was great! The owner was lovely and arranged for me a super tasty vegan pasta. He also gave us some suggestions about what to see in Mazara and other towns close by. The background music was ace, and when we told him we were enjoying it, he let us have a pick at his Spotify playlist. Prices were absolutely fair, especially considering the very good quality of the ingredients and the lovely atmosphere.
Thank you very much for this...
