Ristorante Pizzeria Baby Luna — Restaurant in Mazara del Vallo

One of the most horrible experiences that I’ve ever had in my life. Why?!

We arrived at 21:20 to dine there and we had to wait 50 min for two spaghetti’s that we ordered. (Spaghetti with shrimps and mussels and Spaghetti with sea urchins.) The restaurant was NOT full and people that came after us were receiving the food before us.

In my plate, spaghetti with urchins, in the END when I finished my plate, I found big urchins that were not cleaned well and there was a big risk while eating. (WATCH THE PHOTOS THAT I AM ADDING IN ATTACHMENT)

Service staff arrogant - while we were waiting for our plates, the waiter was passing there with the Grissini and bread (putting them in an empty table and not serving us while we have paid for the “coperto”. We had to ask her so she would give it.

When my girlfriend went to pay the bill and explain the situation the cashier sad with a normal voice that these things are normal and it happens.

Money wise it isn’t worth

I came here already last year and was so happy to return again! The food is really delicious — every dish full of flavor and generous portions. Even though the restaurant is always very busy, especially in August, we got a table very quickly and the food arrived fast too. Mozarella di Buffala was absolute disaster: tomatoes from a supermarket, without ANY taste, olive oil diluted (with a water??), mozarella dried out. Grilled seafod was not tasty at all, made on burned oil and gummy. The only taste was a bread and pannini, definitely would not recommend coming here and ordering these types of food, sorry. ABSOLUTE DISASTER and disappointment.... 😵‍💫 only followed by slow and disorganized service whihch takes good care of locals but...
