Da Lucia — Restaurant in Milan

We are old clients of this restaurant, previously called Angelo Azzurro, and we were happily surprised to find a great new year's eve dinner menu at Trattoria da Lucia. The old owners and the new chef make a great team. The proposed plates reached a higher level : from traditional food to a more refined experimental cuisine that shows a deep understanding of the ingredients and preparations (E.g. Arancina, salty chocolate, green mango, Nero di seppia) and propose them in a different way. The restaurant has also been completely renovated and the atmosphere inside is really nice. Just had a dinner with family to celebrate my son’s bday. First time here but we’ll come back for sure. It was a surprise in every sense: tidy and charming place, very nice and kind staff, but mostly a superb food: from starter to a gorgeous pasta and big schnitzel with backed potatoes. Ieri sera 15 Agosto abbiamo prenotato un tavolo per più di 10 persone verso le ore 21 :00 e devo dire che sembrava per no dire altro che ci volessero cacciare via dal ristorante dopo nemmeno 1 ora passata !! Personale scortese ,dopo i primi non abbiamo nemmeno avuto il tempo di respirare che siamo passati ai dolci messi sul tavolo dopo 2 minuti dall ordine; nonostante due persone non fossero nemmeno presenti al tavolo ma fuori a fumare. (Preciso che avremmo preso anche dei secondi ma ci è passata la voglia vista la situazione ) . Tazzine del caffè e piattini dei dolci portate via subito dopo nemmeno aver quasi finito ... Ma dico io se il 15 sera ad Agosto avete fretta o volevate restare chiusi nessuno vi ha obbligato a rimanere aperti !! Avremmo cercato sicuramente di meglio !!e ci spiace visto che il cibo è buono e conosciamo il posto perché ci passiamo anche la Pasqua e compleanni ma ma ieri sera è stata l'ultima cena visto la maleducazione e la fretta del...
