AMAZING 😍 We had a great time at the restaurant; the staff, the atmosphere, the service and the food was all amazing! We took the waitress' recommendations and we ordered an appetizer and two main courses. For the appetizer, thin focaccia with cheese, it was very tasty. We also ordered trofie pasta with pesto sauce, potatoes and beans also we had to order margherita pizza. Both were very tasty, but the pizza was exquisite 🤤. The pizzas were soggy, with a huge crust, and honestly, just not very good. The truffle one had slaps of wet truffle around it which were WAY too potent, instead of being truffle grated on it, and was covered in ham. The other pizza was a margherita with pesto. These two, and a bottle of water came for the price of 40 euros. We were sat next to a freezer, which had frozen focaccia and croissants filled to the brim, next to the toilets, and the stairs, so that I was hit every time anybody walked past. Frankly, there should not be a table there. Finally, we asked to take it away, which was a HALF a pizza, and to top it all of they smudged it all in a plastic box, instead of a carton. I am a visitor to Italy, and was invited to this restaurant. It's on a busy road next to a rail bridge. Easy to drive past. But don't.

The food, service, ambience and hospitality is 5 stars. I ordered Calamari and it was fresh as could be. Juicy and perfectly prepared. For desert I ordered the Creme Caramel, a classic to be sure and this version I ate was perfection. This was brilliantly presented.

The service staff were very knowledgeable and welcomed me with great warmth and generosity, even though I speak no Italian the staff were extremely accommodating.
