VIRGIN CAFÈ BOCCONI — Restaurant in Milan

I’ve been coming to the café almost everyday for the past few months and am shocked with the staff’s approach to loyal customers such as myself. After having got a coffee and a cake, I’ve been asked to leave after approx. an hour to make space for other clients, under the justification that I this café was no place to work (despite 90% of customers working/studying - it is on a university campus after all). Regardless, I was informed the café was not a library and that I couldn’t study there any more. I was then still asked to leave. Allow me to stress again, 90% of the people there were also studying/working.

It was later explained to me that they were “better” clients who had come for an apertivo and that my coffee bought my only an hour of time at the café (that’s literally what I’ve been told).

After having asked for the manager, I was informed that they were not site and that these were the rules - rules which by the way aren’t written down nor are the displayed.

I am still shocked by the poor service and anti-customer approach, especially to a loyal, almost everyday customer. Regrettably, I will not be coming back, despite coming the the pool and the gym (both located on the building) on a...
