Ke Pizza — Restaurant in Milan

The staff were inattentive and quite frankly rude. I was with my girlfriend out for our first meal in Milan and I am unsure as to whether the staff were homophobic or did not like British tourists. My partner finished her food before me and one of the waiters came over and abruptly asked if she had finished. When she answered yes the waiter took her plate whilst I was still eating. This is a huge ‘no no’ in restaurant etiquette. We then waited and asked for our bill where one of the waiters pointed us to the front desk. When we arrived to the desk a crowd of the staff were stood there and quite clearly laughing at us and talking about us. Felt hated because we’re gay and/or English. My girlfriend and I visited at a relatively early time (7:15), and the restaurant was extremely quiet. The staff member who took the order didn’t speak much English (which is no problem), so she brought her colleague out. The pizza arrived (which was no doubt some of the best pizza we’ve ever had). My plate was taken away moments after I’d finished and before my girlfriend had finished her pizza. The waitress who took the plates was rude, and when we went up to pay the bill we were looked down upon by 5 or 6 different staff standing around (because the restaurant was so quiet). Non sono solita a scrivere recensioni, soprattutto negative perchè non mi piace, ma questa volta non posso non farlo. Hanno sbagliato il conto e noi onestamente siamo tornati indietro facendoglielo presente e ci hanno fatto pagare le due cose mancanti. A quel punto però facciamo presente anche che abbiamo pagato di più la coca cola rispetto al prezzo scritto sul menu e che abbiamo pagato una pizza baby margherita a prezzo pieno, come una pizza margherita normale. Ci è stato risposto che la coca cola era aumentata rispetto a quanto scritto sul menù perché ora è in vetro e che la pizza baby ha lo stesso costo della pizza normale, durante l’ordinazione non ci è stato fatto presente e neanche in cassa durante il pagamento. Se su un menu c’è scritto un prezzo il cliente deve pagare quello che c’è scritto, si vede che loro hanno delle regole differenti. In più se mi proponi per la bimba una pizza baby, quindi più piccola rispetto a quella normale, mi aspetto di pagarla in maniera differente rispetto a quella normale, in tutte le pizzerie funziona così. Se no non propormela neanche e ordino quella normale se tanto la devo pagare nella stessa maniera. Nonostante i loro errori, non hanno fatto neanche la finta di dirci scusateci per l’errore o il disguido oppure vi ridiamo la differenza dei soldi, assolutamente no, lo zero assoluto. Che poi stiamo parlando di pochi euro neanche e quindi non è questo il problema, anche perché ricordo che siamo tornati indietro a pagare due piatti che non ci erano stati messi nel conto, ma è il principio, una questione di correttezza e di saperci fare con i clienti, non ci si comporta così.
