Osteria al Piccolo Molo — Restaurant in Milan

ho pensato un po a cosa scrivere ma onestamente a volte mi chiedo quanto le recensioni siano veritiere. Saro stata sicuramente sfortunata ma la mia esperienza è stata pessima. Prenoto il tavolo per le ore 13 arrivo alle 13.05 tavolo occupato... ci scusi la persona tra poco va via ha un treno da prendere intanto spostiamo un po il tavolo.. alla faccia del distanziamento mangiamo fino alle 13.35 circa insieme ad altre due persone su un piccolo tavolino in 3 a malapena ci stavano i piatti. quanto si allontanano veniamo serviti dei 2 antipasti ordinati... poi piu nulla.. alle 14.20 passate chiedo che fine ha fatto l'ordine visto che era stato effettuato alle 13.15 e mi sento rispondere che la loro cucina è express di conseguenza ci vuole tempo.. noto invece che i tavoli arrivati alle 14 circa erano già stati serviti gia delle pietanze successive e alcuni erano al caffe .. bho saranno andati a comprare il pesce!!? alla fine dopo poco arrivano i 2 primi e il fritto .. tagliatelle ai funghi scotte e insipide .. il fritto scuro e molle.. ma il migliore i tagliolini all'astice pepato in modo esagerato la bocca al secondo boccone bruciava come se avessi mangiato peperoncino puro e in piu crudi con 1 dito di brodo nel piatto che sarà stato il sughetto venuto male?!.. abbandono l'idea del pranzo ci alziamo alle 14.45 pago ben 76 euro, che se avessimo mangiato sarebbe stata anche una cifra accettabile e infine me ne vado inviperita.. ovviamente la ragione è loro.. consiglio andate il pesce è fresco ma siate più petulanti di me insistete chiedete controllate qui si perdono le comande e ti servono piatti al volo rifritti o freddi e scotti o meglio neanche cotti . delusissima per fortuna di ristoranti è...

My name is Iain Leith. I am a Scottish ex-pat who has lived in Milan for 35 years. I live in the Lambrate/Citta Studi area, about 100m from "Al Piccolo Molo"; we eat there regularly. I have only praise for this restaurant: wonderful food, relaxed atmosphere and very friendly service. Prices are:- very cheap for a fixed-price lunch menu and pretty good for a full dinner menu. The owner speaks very good English. The toilets are absolutely spotless! (That's always a good sign). I have nothing negative to say about this...

We ordered the following

-linguini with sea urchin - there was very little sea urchin and the taste was very bland -homemade gnocchi - disappointing, bland and soggy -Octopus with mashed potatoes - the octopus could have used an orange glaze - it would have really elevated the dish // it was better than the others -desert: millefoglie & tiramisu - they were good

Also, we were brought two small glasses of sparkling wine when we arrived, without being asked beforehand and so we expected this to be on the...
