Osteria Ippodromo — Restaurant in Milan

Food is below average. I would not recomend this restaurant at all, dunno why it is rated 4.4, i have eaten better in gas stations. Overcooked pastas, greasy frito misto….mussels full of sand!! This is just a TOURIST TRAP!

And to reply to the owner….how can you tell this is a fake review when you are stating that we were there?!? Normaly when a customer complains about a dish, the least you can do is to try to change that dish with something else..not to state that we do not know how to eat….common, thats really lame…. I think you should change the way you React to negative reviews, try to take them constructively, if you want to improve...

We liked the spaghetti with seafood but… all the rest was lacking quality and care: fresh seafood appetizer… with sliced swordfish served still frozen, a filet whose meat was swimming in sauce with strong capers taste and lastly a tiramisu with dry savoiardi. No way. Venue is very noisy when full, and speaking very difficult....

The first time we visit this place. Only one staff member who spoke English. Communication was a bit difficult. The food was absolutely fantastic, and the atmosphere as well. I recommend starting with one dish at a time. We ordered way too much and had to roll out of the restaurant. Highly...
