Pizzeria A' Tarantella — Restaurant in Milan

Ladri! Terrible terrible terrible! 0 stars! Overcharged us 23€ for our meal and gave us a receipt that didn't have any of the details of our meal on it, simply said Pizza: 76,00. I brought this up with the man behind the till and he did a quick add up of the payment and said he had made a mistake with the tables. Not true as I had seen him take our order with the exact items we had taken. He then did a quick calculation of the meal without looking at the menu and overcharged us again. Pizza 11€ when it was actually 8.50€, beer 4€ when actually 3€. He charged us firstly 76€, then 58€ but the real total was 53.50€! Finally he gave us the correct change and apologised pretending that he had made a mistake but it was not a mistake and he was looking to rip us off! Their behaviour ruined a nice family evening with guests.Furbi!!!...

Pizzeria carina, abbastanza spaziosa, cibi buoni, menù molto vasto e scritto in caratteri corsivi un po' difficili da codificare essendo su sfondo variopinto. A causa di quest'ultima caratteristica - apparentemente innocua - io ed i miei amici, tutta gente tranquilla e pacifica, siamo stati bistrattati dalla cameriera che ci aveva in consegna! Ovviamente quando è passata la prima volta a prendere le ordinazioni non avevamo ancora scelto, abbiamo detto gentilmente alla cameriera di tornare dopo, lei è andata via scocciata, è tornata dopo un minuto esatto e noi eravamo ancora immersi nella lettura, a quel punto - infervorata - ha sbattuto il notes sulla tavola come ad intimarci di ordinare! Io per la fretta ho ordinato una pizza senza salsa, che di solito evito, ma per fortuna era buona, la mia amica ha ordinato a caso ma anche a lei è andata bene. Le pizze sono arrivate in fretta e la stessa cameriera ce le ha quasi lanciate. Capisco un po' di frenesia, ma forse così è troppo. Tra l'altro noi stessi avevamo metropolitana e treno da prendere entro un'ora e non avevamo intenzione di soffermarci troppo a lungo in pizzeria, ma a quanto pare eravamo troppo lenti per lo standard del posto. Non sono vendicativo e il giudizio generale che lascio è a prescindere dal "maltrattamento". Però dovendo scrivere una recensione non posso...

A bit off the beaten path, this was one of my favourite places for a pizza in the Neapolitan style in the whole Milan. The entrees are still great, but I have the feeling the quality of the pizza, while still very good, has dropped a bit in recent times. While recently renovated, the place still feels like you time traveled to a pizzeria in the 90s: come for the pizza, not...
